Long Weekend & a Birthday Trip!

Mood: Happy Flying High!

Thanks the gods for long holiday weekends! I've been looking forward to this for a couple of months now.
I've been enjoying the hell out of my new digital camera! I really love it & apparently, it was money well spent. A lot of people have been enjoying my photos! Thanks to everyone who has commented & favorited some of my shots!
Word of my artistic abilities has spread, thanks in no small part to my friends at work & school. Two of my fractal pieces were featured in my schools literary & arts publication. A local restaurant owner also wants to showcase some of my photo & fractal pieces! I'm so excited!
My best friend & roomie took it upon himself to buy some bulk 4 x 6 prints of a photo I took quite some time ago. He did this without my knowledge and then tells me "Happy Birthday!" I already have at least five buyers! Things are really moving along!
He's taking me up to Estes Park for my birthday tomorrow! He did the same thing last year, but we had such a great time that I wanted to do it again. This time, I'll be armed with my camera and hopefully I'll get some more great shots!
